Funny, funny Faith – what a riot! She’s playful, sweet-natured and a
ton of fun. Look at that beautiful smile – and what a happy girl!
Faith loves, loves, loves companionship and attention. She's a 3-
year-old, about-to-be spayed female who is mostly house trained,
crate trained and up-to-date on vaccinations. Faith thinks kids are
the greatest thing ever and just wants to give them big kisses.
Faith is a cuddler – she enjoys lots of affection, snuggling and BIG
hugs. She’s the perfect lover-girl if you’d like an affectionate dog
and a best friend for life. And what a personality – she’ll make you
laugh and keep you smiling. Faith is active and full of life. She
loves to romp, run and play. She needs some positive
reinforcement obedience training to learn not to jump, but she is
very eager to please and a quick learner too. Training is also a fun
bonding experience for dog and family. Faith is smart and very
trainable, and she’s already crate trained. She has shown only
happy, goofy, playful character. She may be fine with a submissive
dog, but we do not recommend a home with cats. Faith just gets
too excited. Give Faith a chance and help her find the loving family
she so greatly deserves.
Our hearts go out to sweet Chewy. In his former “home,” he was forced to
live outside and received no attention from anyone. The owner used him
as a breeding dog and that’s all he cared about. Chewy was fed once a
day and that was his only attention from anyone. So, as you can imagine,
he’s just starving to be loved. He’s now been rescued and is being loved
every day. It’s obvious that Chewy got a taste of affection and
companionship and now he just can’t get enough. He so badly wants a
best friend! Chewy is now a very happy boy – loving and playful. He's a 3-
year-old, about-to-be neutered male who is up-to-date on vaccinations.
Chewy likes to play with toys and to go for walks. Although he hasn’t been
taught very much, he walks well on a leash and even walked in a parade
recently. He got along fine with the other animals and he did really well
with the kids too. Chewy will needs a family who will teach him all the
great things that every dog should know, using positive reinforcement
with treats and praise. He is working on house training right now and
learning well. Chewy is a smart boy and should learn new things quickly
– he really wants to please people and make them happy. Give Chewy a
chance and help him find the loving family he so greatly deserves.
Sweet Athena is a good girl – smart and eager to please. She’s a very friendly
dog who loves children. Athena is a 4-year-old, about-to-be spayed female
who is house trained, up-to-date on vaccinations and approximately 90 lbs.
Athena came from a home of neglect where she was forced to live outside.
But sweet Athena still loves people and her spirit soars. She greets you with a
big smile and just wants to make you happy – she’s a definite people pleaser.
To start off in a new home, Athena will do better as the only pet until she feels
comfortable and secure. She shows an excited interest in cats that may make
it unsafe for a cat to live in her home. Athena is a quick learner and in a short
amount of time has shown she’s a smart dog. She knows some obedience
and behavior commands, and she does not potty in her kennel at all and
holds it until she gets outside. Athena’s unbreakable spirit is heartwarming
and her sweet face and adoring eyes make her irresistible. She can be a little
timid with strangers, but once she knows you, she just can’t love you enough.
Give Athena a chance and help her find the loving family she so greatly
deserves.
Little Micker is a smaller male Rottie at 65 lbs., but is full-grown and
full of love. He's a 3-year-old, neutered male who is up-to-date on
vaccinations. Micker came from a home of neglect and he just isn’t
sure yet how to be a dog. Although he is friendly and loving,
sometimes he just isn’t sure what to do. This makes him a little timid
around strangers. Micker just needs confidence and reassurance that
he’s a good dog. In a real home with a caring mom or dad, he’ll learn
what it’s like to be a beloved member of a family and in no time, his
confidence should soar. Micker is happy boy and he really loves
people. He’s kind and sweet-natured – just wants a home of his own
and a best friend to love for life. Although Micker has not been taught
very much, he is smart and eager to please. He’s working on house
training now and he already walks very well on leash. In fact, he was
recently in a parade and he did very well with the other dogs and all
the people. Micker does not bark a lot and is happiest when he’s with
his favorite people, lounging and loving. Give Micker a chance and
help him find the loving family he so greatly deserves.

THE HERD:::  Our Herd of misfits is a collage of adopted farm animals from different situations.
They all were in need of a good home for one reason or another and I have a bigger heart than I do
budget.

We are looking for some old barn wood to reuse for our adopted herd of misfits.  If you have any
unused building materials or an old barn you want to get rid of please let us know.  We can manage
getting down a medium sized barn if it is still standing.
Update
Micker who is now affectionately called Zane is
absolutely loving life.  He has a wonderful family and
is great with his "cousin"  He has filled out
beautifully and is enjoying his second chance in life.
He brought his family to visit the Lodge in July and
we are just amazed at his transformation.  Zane
holds a special place in our hearts.  He went from a
shy, abandoned, un-trusting puppy to a well loved
member of an awesome family.  The joys of my job
never end!!!!
